Aakash Sharma, SOIL PGPM, batch of 2020, has started helping his community elders by delivering food and milk packets to them. With this gesture, he ensures that the elders need not step out. Truly Inspirational!
An attempt to raise awareness of the need for open source, low cost, locally built ventilators to help the fight against Corona virus.
Ruchit Gupta, SOIL PGPM, batch of 2021 organising food drives in his hometown by raising funds through friends and family. As part of an NGO called Vishalakshi foundation, he is going to one locality everyday with groceries and food rations for people living in slums. Niraj Kumar Rai, a SOIL alumnus has reached out to the people who have worked for him (past and present), ex - maids, houseboy etc and has helped them with money, food and clothing. Additionally, Niraj has created awareness amongst them regarding the precautions to be taken care during these tough times.

Ankit Kambli, SOIL Alumnus, and 4 other friends have created a WhatsApp group where the society elderly are being taken care of. Ankit is also collecting funds through Paytm and donating to the Maharashtra CM Fund.

I decided to make a small contribution of helping the elderly in my society. Everyone has my phone number now and I receive blessings every time I deliver food. Life's good this way. I request you to do the same in your community as well
