As a Professor of Marketing and Social Innovation at School of Inspired Leadership (SOIL), Gurgaon, India, Atindra is best described as a design thinker, passionate teacher, intense trainer and a consultant. He is passionate about courses on Marketing, with a special interest in subjects related to Sales Force Management, Network Management & Optimization, After-Market Pricing and Return on Investment, Consumer Psychology & Buyer Behavior etc. His near two-decade-long experience in the consumer industry helps bring real-life examples and practicality to his discourses. Post his industry stint, he has been facilitating courses for Post Graduate Management students for the last 13 years.

Atindra is actively engaged in capability building activities with corporate, providing end-to-end solutions through in-depth problem diagnosis, gap analysis, designing training interventions, delivery, and post-delivery impact analysis. He specializes in marketing & sales specific interventions, behavioral interventions around team building, motivation, and change management. Some of the brands/companies he has worked/is working with recently are - Amul, Dhara, Vadilal, Pfizer/Medanta, Rajasthan Patrika, Gabriel, Perfect Circle, Mahle, Mondelez, Engineer India Limited, NTTF, Colgate Palmolive, Carrier Midea, CDot, GMR-DIAL etc.,  

As a consultant, he enjoys working with young people in their start-ups, SMEs struggling with scaling-up their business and NGOs engaged in making this world a better place to live for all. Work revolves around providing them strategic inputs for business planning/modeling, go-to-market strategies, and addressing scaling up challenges.

An Agricultural Science graduate with specialization in Genetics, Atindra went for his Masters in Management Studies with specialization in Marketing from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. On the way, he picked up a Diploma in the German Language. He is also a certified assessor of the American psychometric tool – Caliper and is a Certified Large Scale Interactive Process (LSIP) facilitator.

Other interests – Politics, Development and Societal Stress, Indian scriptures and their relevance in the modern world.

Rajeev has spent 30 years selling flagship brands — across products as diverse as razors, toothbrushes, shave preps, vodka, mosquito repellents, toilet cleaners and air fresheners — to millions of consumers around the world. A global CPG leader with deep experience in the emerging markets of India, South East Asia, Egypt, and Russia — he has a strong track record of execution excellence and unique cultural insight and experience. In his role as Executive Director and General Manager at SC Johnson (the makers of Glade, Duck, and Mr. Muscle), he led business operations for Russia and CIS, Indochina, India and most recently, Indonesia. 

Prior to SC Johnson, Rajeev worked for The Gillette Company, in sales and marketing leadership roles across India, South Asia and Egypt. Rajeev’s interests encompass general management, category and brand management, sales and channel management, including acquisitions and their integration — with a strong emphasis on driving penetration to grow market share profitably. 

Rajeev is also keenly interested in the social enterprise space and has served as a Director on board United Way of Russia between 2011-2016 and he recently participated in the 3rd Global Base of the Pyramid (BOP) summit held in Delhi.

Anil has 21 years of General Management and International Business Development Experience in Telecom, Government, Banking, and Education& Training Industry. His expertise includes Startup management, Turnarounds, Change, International Relations & Cross-Cultural Management, Strategy, Execution & Leadership, Deal Structuring & Negotiations, Growth Management & Business Development, Relationship Management, New Product Development & rollout, P&L, ROI Accountability.

He has previously worked with NIIT India and is the country head & founder of Gemalto France, Net1 Technologies (Austria & South Africa). Currently, he is consulting for a Danish MNC in the area of Mobile Entertainment and Mobile Ticketing for Asia markets. He is also the visiting faculty for MBA programs at IIFT, BIMTECH, TERI University, apart from being the member of Advisory Business Council for International Business of BIMTECH.

Ankur is currently Head of Groupon APAC Emerging Markets (India, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines) in addition to being the CEO of Groupon India. Groupon is the global leader in group buying spread across 48 countries, with a valuation of over USD 25 Bn.

Previously Ankur was a co-founder at Accentium Web, which runs leading websites such as (India’s largest re-marriage portal), (India’s largest auto portal – sold to the Ibibo Group in Mar 2011), (India’s largest education portal), (India’s leading SEO Agency) amongst others. He exited the business in Oct 2010.

Before the entrepreneurship bug bit him, Ankur used to chase airline frequent flier miles as a management consultant with A.T. Kearney for 3 years. He doesn’t know what to do with his suits and ties any longer!

He holds an MBA degree from the Indian School of Business and an MS Degree in Physics from Michigan State University. Ankur did his graduated from Hindu College, Delhi University

Chiranjeev holds a Ph.D. in Marketing from Indiana University, and an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. His dissertation received honorable mention in the International Doctoral Dissertation Competition.

He is Professor of Marketing at California State University Fullerton and was honored with the Business School’s Outstanding Faculty Award for 1998/1999 and Distinguished Faculty Award for 1999/2000; and again, as Outstanding Faculty for 2008/2009. He also received the Best Professor Award from the University’s Associated Students, Inc. for the year 2002/2003. In 2008, he was honored as the Outstanding Professor for the School of Business.

He is the founder principal of I.D. ENTITY, specializing in brand and corporate identity. His research has been reported in academic journals and newspapers including European Journal of Marketing, Harvard Business Review, Ivey Business Journal, Journal of Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Advertising Research, Journal of Business Research, The Los Angeles Times and The Orange County Register. National Public Radio has also done a segment on his work. In 1999, he was honored by the Young Presidents Organization of Southern California for excellence in academia; and in January 2000, he was nominated for the Pattishall Award, sponsored by the Brand Names Education Foundation, for excellence in teaching trademark related topics. He has consulted for a wide variety of companies, including Alcatel Lucent, Autodesk, Bionutrics, Canon USA, Convergys, Del Taco, KFC, Odetics, Quaker Oats, Regency Healthcare, Spherion, Taco Bell, and Verizon.

He has been invited as a keynote speaker to several organizations and has been nominated to the American Marketing Association’s National Speakers Directory. He has offered several seminars in the United States, Germany, Hong Kong, and Sweden. A comedian by avocation, he won the Indiana University Comedy Competition and has opened for Dennis Miller on Saturday Night Live! He enjoys spending time with his family, international travel, nature, and photography.

Shailaja Manocha is a PGDBM from IMT Ghaziabad. She has worked in the area of marketing and sales with organizations like Dabur and NIIT. Since 1998, she has been working as a consultant/trainer and teacher. Her areas of specialization are marketing and communication.

She is a Faculty in the area of marketing since 1999. Teach subjects like marketing management, consumer behavior, integrated marketing communication, brand management, service marketing, retail management etc.,

Prof. Vinod Kalia

Prof Kalia has more than ten years’ experience in academics and teaches different courses in Marketing area. Backed by his industry experience of 25 years in some of the best-known organizations at senior, top and CEO positions, Prof Kalia brings a fine blend of conceptual and practical orientation in his work. He was earlier the Chair – Marketing Area and Chair – International Relations at MDI.

Before shifting to academics, he was CEO of Claas India Ltd, a JV of billion-dollar Claas KGaA of Germany and the Escorts group, which he turned around and brought into profits. Earlier he headed another JV of Escorts group and restructured the same. In the field of Marketing & Sales, ¸ Prof Kalia has over 20 years of highly successful experience covering diverse products in organizations such as Eicher group¸ Larsen & Toubro¸ Jubilant Life Sciences/Degussa AG¸ Anand/Gabriel group¸ and Shriram group of companies. Earlier at MDI¸

He has authored a book titled “Determinants of Effective Distribution Channels in India: A Study of Select Indian Companies” and has also written a number of management cases on Dettol, Gillette, Harpic, Mattel Toys, Cherry Blossom etc. which are used in PGP teaching and MDPs.  Prof Kalia’s interests include Distribution Channel Management¸ Sales Management, B2B Marketing¸ Personal Selling and Strategic Marketing. His MDPs have successfully been drawing participants from leading companies from diverse sectors.

Freda has over 25 years of corporate experience in Marketing and Advertising, and 8 years in academics. She has graduated with a PGDM from the IIM-A, and an MS in Communications from Illinois State University, USA. Her ad agency experience was extensive at LINTAS and JW Thompson and as a Vice-President with Branch Management responsibility at Advertising & Sales Promotion (ASP – a C K Birla group ad agency). She was Head – Marketing Communications at Goodyear India Ltd. and was also the Senior General Manager – Marketing at DSS Mobile Communications.

Her academic specializations are in the areas of Strategic Brand Management, Consumer Behavior and Integrated Marketing Communications. Her research interests are in the areas of Brand and Advertising. She is currently conducting research studies in the cultural dimensions of Indian advertising. She has presented papers in Marketing at conferences in India and abroad, conducted Management Development programs in Client and Customer management and Personal Branding, besides her areas of specialization. She has also been the Program Director for several seminars in the area of Marketing.

A gold medalist from the University of Mumbai, and an MBA from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Jayshree was always passionate about consumer insights. She started her career at the Times of India but went on to spend 17 years at Lintas where she was known for her work with clients like Cadburys, Johnson & Johnson, Maruti Suzuki, ICI, Gillette, Parker and many more. She was Sr. Associate Director and Executive Board member at the end of her 17 yrs. there and went on to join Leo Burnett as President North, for the next five years.

Jayshree is known for her infamously good new business record, some of her favorite moments at Leo Burnett included winning the National campaign that brought the Congress to power in 2004 (The Aam Aadmi Campaign), and businesses like Coca-Cola, McDonald's, Aircel, Tetra pak etc.

Jayshree is obsessed with latest consumer trends, Bollywood and Political news. She enjoys writing and travel. She teaches using a lot of metaphors from the world of cricket and films, as also current affairs. She is an avid observer of people and loves all forms of communication. She has been a trainer in both her companies and has of course been to Cannes, Spikes Asia, Adfest, Goafest, etc. In her tenure at both agencies, she and her teams won a number of Creative and Strategic awards.

She has done a course in Brand Equity at The Wharton Business School. She has switched to the academic world, since 2007, and has taught at IIM Shillong, Fore School of Management, NIIT Imperia, Amity, Times School of Marketing, and a few others.

Mr. Prasad Subramaniam is a management and marketing professional and has extensive experience and achievements in the field of brand building and marketing communications, having been involved with some of the country’s leading companies as their partner in leading advertising agencies.

He is presently the Chairman of Publicis Capital, which is now a part of Publicis Group, today the world’s largest and the fastest growing advertising network. Publicis Capital handles the advertising for Nestle, HP, L’Oreal and many other large brands other than the brands originally handled by Capital.

Previously he has had stints with Rediffusion Advertising and Clarion Advertising in various capacities. Technology, Music and reading are key interest areas.

Sudhir has over 42 years of work experience in various functions of General Management, Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, HR and Consultancy.

Worked with Crompton Greaves Ltd (7 yrs.), Exide Industries Ltd (28yrs) – where he held various leadership positions before being appointed to the main Board (10 yrs.) first as Director Automotive (Profit centre Head) then as Director Corporate Affairs for the Company- including HR, Training and Corporate Social Responsibility. He retired from Exide in 2006 and has since been involved in management education and Consulting. He has served on various committees of CII, Bengal Chambers of Commerce is past president of Calcutta Management Association and was Director General of Indian Battery Manufacturers Association (IBMA).

An Electrical Engineer from BITS Pilani with Diploma in Marketing Management, University of Bombay, and Executive Development programs at IIM Ahmedabad and Cranefield School of Management, UK – Sudhir has been visiting faculty at Management Development Programs at IIM Kolkata and Calcutta Management Association. He is on the academic council of Globsyn Business School (Kolkata). He teaches credit courses at three management institutes in areas of Business Strategy, Marketing and Management of Change.

His areas of experience include Strategic and Corporate planning, Manufacturing, Marketing, Organization Structuring and change initiatives, HR Development, Collaborations and Technology absorption. He has extensive Coaching and Consulting Experience, having played the role of an assessor for over 900 senior level executives from various premier Indian and international companies and Executive Coaching assignments for over 40 apex/senior level executives.

Susmita has over two decades of experience with India’s leading Retail and Market Research Organizations. In her most recent role, she worked as Head – Consumer Insights & Retail Analytics, Bharti Walmart India. Earlier she has served as the Vice President, Marketing Services at Subhiksha and as Associate Vice President at IMRB International. Strong Insights on both Retail processes as well Consumer Behavior gained by Strategizing / Planning Marketing & Merchandising initiatives as well as implementing the same on ground. Ability to draw out relevant & actionable learning’s from Catchment Researches, Brand Tracks, Communication Development, Category Understanding, Product / Concept and Pricing Researches, In-shop observations, Mystery Shopping exercises etc. She has lived and worked in all the four regions in India and thus has a first-hand understanding of consumers across the country. She enjoys reading, traveling, cooking and writes a food blog.
