The founders of Grow Talent Company came together to create a postgraduate business school in 2009 to nurture leaders who can build organizations of consequence. For this they collaborated with a consortium of 32 companies who believed in the philosophy and value proposition (Aditya Birla Group, Dr Reddys, Hindustan Unilever, Infosys, Johnson and Johnson, Kohler, Larsen and Toubro, Mahindra, Max, Maruti Suzuki, Nokia, SAS, SAP SRF, Schneider, Symphony, Tata Steel, TVS Motors, Volvo-Eicher to name a few.)


  Anil Sachdev

Founder & CEO - Grow Talent Company Limited and Founder - SOIL


Anil Sachdev is the Founder and CEO of Grow Talent Company Limited and the School of Inspired Leadership-SOIL. Grow Talent was created in July 2000 and became the leader in the strategic HR consulting industry by 2006. It enabled a large number of Global and local firms to achieve breakthrough performance by realising the potential of their people and creating a talent advantage.

In October 2008, Anil and the other co-founders of Grow Talent entered the field of Education by creating SOIL- the School of Inspired Leadership. This innovative School has been co-created by a consortium of 32 leading firms and has focus on the five pillars of inspired leadership: Compassion, Diversity, Ethics, Mindfulness and Sustainability. In 2019, Soil has launched its second campus in Manesar- the SOIL School of Business Design that is offering the first of its kind two years full time MBA that combines the disciplines of liberal arts, design thinking and management education

Anil’s experience in India and across the world covers areas such as talent management, strategic change and organizational transformation. Recognized as a thought leader in leadership development and organizational transformation, Anil has done pioneering work with leading global and local firms. He has spoken at national and global conferences all over the world and has written contributory pieces for leading publications. He has been adjunct Faculty to leading business schools such as Indian School of Business, Kelly School of Business, Indiana University, GMI, Flint Michigan, Antioch University, Seattle, Ohio University and the University of New Brunswick, Canada.

Anil began his career with Tata Motors in 1975 after completing his MBA from the University of Pune and joined Eicher in 1978 and worked in HR, operations and TQM. He is the Founder of Eicher Consultancy Services and was its CEO till 2001.

He is active in management circles and has held several public offices such a Chairman of National Committees on Leadership Development, Human Resources, Industrial relations of the Confederation Indian Industry.

Anil is a member of the Academic Committee of CEDEP, the leading Leadership Institute of Europe, located at Fontainebleau. He is a member of the World Compassion Council, based in Seattle and a Trustee of the Chinmaya Mission. He serves on the Global Board of Shizenkan University in Tokyo.



  Dr. Pradip Khandwalla

Former Director, IIM Ahmedabad


Pradip N. Khandwalla was educated at Bombay University (B.Com.), Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania (M.B.A.) and Carnegie -Mellon University (Ph.D). He has been a consultant/trainer to a large number of organizations, including the Aditya Birla Group, Alembic, BHEL, Bharat Petroleum, CMC, Cadila Pharma, DFID, Grow Talent, Gujarat State Finance Corporation, Hindustan Lever, L&T, Maharashtra State Apex Cooperative Bank, Microsoft, National Thermal Power Corporation, Pfizer, Reliance, Satyam Computers, Shell India,Tata Telecom, TELCO, Torrent, Wockhardt, World Bank, etc.
Professor Khandwalla taught at McGill University, Canada, for several years before returning to India in 1975. Thereafter he was a professor at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad until his retirement in 2002. He held the L&T Chair in Organizational Behaviour at IIMA from 1985 to 1991. He was the Director of IIMA from 1991 to 1996.

He is currently on the board of CadilaPharma, Gujarat Gas, and Micro Inks. He is also on the governing councils of Academy of Human Resource Development, Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (India), MICA, and other institutions. He has served as a member of the National Renewal Fund, Government of India, and as a trustee, India Brand Equity Fund of Government of India. He was twice a member, Appointments Board of the Government of India for short-listing heads of public sector banks and financial institutions. Earlier, he was a member of the Planning Commission of Gujarat State, and a member of the Science Advisory Committee of the Cabinet, Government of India.

Former Chairman, Crompton Greaves


Mr. Kewal Krishan Nohria served as Senior Executive Officer of Maini Precision Products Private Limited. Mr. Nohria served as Managing Director of Crompton Greaves Ltd. since 1985. He has over 50 years experience in Electrical & Electronics Industry. He is associated with the Electrical Industry and has held senior management positions. He associated with Crompton Greaves Ltd. since 1978.

Mr. Nohria also serves as the Chairman of the board of CoreEL Technologies (I) Pvt. Ltd. He serves as the Chairman of CTR Manufacturing Industries Ltd. He serves as Chairman of Maini Precision Products Private Limited. He has been the Chairman of the Board of Igarashi Motors India Ltd. since July 23, 2015 and previously served as its Chairman of the Board until July 2014. He served as the Chairman of Crompton Greaves Ltd., from 1997 to July 22, 2004. Mr. Nohria serves as the Chairman and Director of India at Healthpoint Services Global, Inc. He has been a Non-Executive Independent Director of Pradeep Metals Limited since April 14, 2008.


  P. Dwarakanath

Director - Group Health Captial, Max India


Mr. P Dwarakanath has been associated with the Max Group for nearly nine years, and was earlier heading the Human Capital function at the erstwhile consolidated Max India Limited as Director, Group Human Capital.

Mr. Dwarakanath is a veteran Human Resource professional, having a rich experience of over three decades.

He is on the board of several companies/institutions including GSK Consumer Healthcare Ltd. Previously, he worked with GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) for three decades as its Director, Human Resources and Administration, India & South Asia.

Mr. Dwarakanath has served as the President, National Human Resources Development Network (NHRDN), President of Delhi Management Association (DMA) and Regional President, Northern Region, AIMA.


  Sanjay Gupta

CEO, English Helper


Mr. Sanjay Gupta took on the role of CEO Global at EnglishHelper™ after a long stint at American Express, where he served as Head of Customer Service – International Markets from Singapore, Head of Global Financial Operations from New York, and Senior Vice President and Head of the India Leadership Team.

He has held senior positions at Motorola, Pepsico and Eicher in India. Currently, he serves as Director BOI AXA, School of Inspired Leadership -Grow Talent, Skill Training Assessment Management Partners (an IL&FS venture) and other companies.
Sanjay is on the Advisory Boards of organizations including Schneider Electric India and Acumen Fund. He is a Governing Council Member of the National Association of Social Enterprises, India (NASE, India).

Deeply committed to the development sector, he has engaged closely, as Advisor/ Trustee, with Charities Aid Foundation (India) and Mobile Creches. Sanjay is presently on the Management Committees of Udayan Care a child rights organization and East Point School for students from lower-income families.

Swami Swaminathan is the Executive Chairman of Manipal Health Enterprises a leader in the Healthcare Industry in India with 15 hospitals, 5000 beds connecting with over 2 million patients annually, supported by over 2000 doctors and over 6000 Nurses and support staff.

Swami is now responsible to guide the growth of the company with its plans to enhance growth in the cities that it is already present in and enter newer geographies both in India and overseas achieving world-class excellence and recognition as a globally respected healthcare corporation.

Swami has over 35 years of rich and varied experience in General Management, Finance & Accounting, Sales & Marketing, International Trading and Human Resources Management. He has performed multiple roles in Sales, Marketing and Operations, leading global teams in the Automobiles, Consumer Durables, Technology, Manufacturing and Services industries. He has also been associated with infrastructure projects in India and overseas.
Prior to joining Manipal Health Enterprises, he was the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Infosys BPO (a fully owned subsidiary of Infosys Ltd) with annual revenues of over 600 Million dollars.


  Vinita Singh

Founder, We the People


Vinita Singh is an independent consultant based in Gurgaon, India. Her main areas of expertise are livelihoods and ethical trade.

She has worked on a variety of issues in the area of trade and development as former Director of International Resources for Fairer Trade and as Coordinator of ETI’s Homeworker project in India. She has a Masters degree in business management and in social policy.

Vinita has focused much of her efforts in looking at how ethical trade can positively contribute to the livelihoods and lives of workers, in the formal and informal sector. She has worked with several UK retailers notably B&Q, Coop, Sainsburys, John Lewis, Boots, Traidcraft, on understanding the involvement of the informal sector workers in their supply chains and developing initiatives in improving of the livelihoods of these workers. This has been in several product areas like rice, nuts, coir, carpets, brassware, garments, jewellery and crafts. For example, with B&Q, she worked on understanding the supply chain related to coir mats that they sourced from Kerala in India.


  Yogesh Andlay

Founder, Nucleus Software


Yogesh Andlay is an entrepreneur and is one of the promoters of Nucleus Software.

He was part of the founding team of several leading well known companies in IT, consultancy and education field. Yogesh Andlay graduated from IIT Delhi in 1979. Yogesh Andlay was President of IIT Delhi Alumni Association during the year 2006-07. He has also been an active participant in PanIIT Alumni activities. Yogesh was Chair-Exhibition Committee for PanIIT Conclave 2010.

Presently Yogesh mentors several IT startups and actively participates in several community activities.

Arun Jain is the Chairman and Managing Director of Intellect Design Arena Limited. Intellect is a specialist in applying true Digital Technologies, the world's first full-spectrum Banking and Insurance technology products company, across Global Consumer Banking (iGCB), Central Banking, Global Transaction Banking (iGTB), Risk, Treasury and Markets (iRTM) and Insurance (Intellect SEEC). With revenues of USD 124 Mn and employee base of around 4000, Intellect powers over 200 leading Banks and Financial Institutions around the globe with its suite of Products.

Arun commenced his entrepreneurial journey by setting up Nucleus Software Workshop in 1986. In 1993, he founded Polaris Software Lab, which recorded a CAGR of nearly 200% during the seven-year period 1993-2000. This path of deep domain expertise, vision and planning began in 1993, with just $250 and a dream.

Arun is passionate about Design Thinking as a science to creating the biggest impact on Individual and organizational performance. He visualizes it as a platform for learning and applying, with a childlike curiosity to ask questions, forming the foundation of the practice of Design Thinking. An avid practitioner, Arun also evangelizes Design Thinking through public workshops.
