Dr. Deepak Chawla
Dr. Deepak Chawla is currently a resident faculty at International Management Institute, New Delhi where he has been a professor since 1991. He completed both his Bachelors & Masters in Statistics from the Indian Statistical Institute, Calcutta & later pursued a fellow program in management from IIM, Ahmedabad.
Dr. Deepak Chawla has over three decades of teaching, research and consulting experience in the areas of Quantitative Techniques & Operations Management.
He has been a consultant to the School of Management Studies, Indira Gandhi National Open University, Delhi as well as a Senior Faculty Member at the University of Calabar, Nigeria, and a Faculty Member at Management Development Institute, Gurgaon. He also had a stint at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad as a member of a research team.
He has worked on a number of research and consulting projects both in India and abroad as well as extensively published research in refereed journals. His areas of academic interest are Business Statistics, Marketing Research, Business Forecasting, Applied Econometrics, Managerial Economics and Actuarial Science. He has consulting and research interests in Marketing Research, Business Forecasting and Quantitative Methods for Management Applications.
