Architecturally as well, a number of steps have been taken to make the campus environmentally friendly. These include providing an open landscape space for ETS (Environmental Tobacco Smoke), prohibition of smoking in the building, the use of low-emitting VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) materials for adhesives, sealants, paints and coatings, and the creation of naturally lit and well ventilated study spaces that seem to spill into the natural surroundings through large windows.

The LRC (Library resource centre) at SOIL is being designed as a state of the art library for business leaders and human resource professionals. With both print and online cataloguing , this library can be an attractive space for all those who wish to learn; both virtually as well as in a physical ambience which allows for quiet assimilation and reflection. The LRC at SOIL will have seating arrangements, work stations, print material, software for e-library as well as subscriptions to the best data bases in the field.

Gurgaon is a prominent part of the National Capital Region and thousands of professionals have made their home in Gurgaon owing to the large number of corporate firms and residential complexes in this area. Recreation activities in Gurgaon range from shopping in the largest malls to enjoying various authentic cuisines across the city.
