Internships: SOIL follows a 1-month internship model scheduled after the completion of the first term which usually falls in the months of Aug-Sep. Following this model since last 2 years we have placed students in some of the best companies across the board. Internships are an opportunity for students to apply their classroom learning on real time projects and get valued exposure to industry blended with a renewed academic rigor.
We witnessed continued trust from our existing industry partners and established many new relationships across industries. Conversations with these companies included identifying learning opportunities for students to apply their academic inputs as well as holistically looking at maximizing their career prospects with the respective companies.
We are proud to have had repeated recruiters as well as new companies (25% of all!) who are progressive and growing start-ups who believed in the philosophy of SOIL and made a commitment to partner with us.
With some exciting projects in the areas of general management, marketing, finance, operations and HR, the stipend offered has been in the range of INR 7000 to INR 75,000 for a month.
