What are the programs offered by SOIL?

SOIL offers 3 full time non residential Post Graduate Programs in Leadership: (a) Human Resources Leadership, (b) Marketing Leadership, and (c) Business Leadership. The programs are comparable to regular two year full time MBA programs offered by business schools across the world.

What are the scholarships available?

For meritorious but economically weak students selected as per our selection process, SOIL will provide scholarships to up to 10% of students enrolled in each batch. Scholarship amount is typically between 25% and 75% of the tuition fee.

Does the program award an MBA degree?

As the curriculum is tailored to meet industry requirements, SOIL has not sought approval for its programs from AICTE. We offer a certificate program which is recognized by the Industry.

Who can apply to the HR Leadership program?

Both fresh graduates and working executives can apply for the Human Resources Leadership Program.

Who can apply to the Marketing Leadership program?

Both fresh graduates and working executives can apply for the Marketing Leadership Program.

What is the admission / selection process?

1. All applicants will be required to submit their application online. This will include their basic personal details, academic scores and details of work experience (if applicable). They will also need to submit a Video of not more than 2 minutes of themselves highlighting their skills, achievements and aspirations. The video can be made using any recording device like webcam, handycam or even a good cellphone.
If the profile is found suitable, applicants will be required to take the Caliper Profile Assessment which will be sent in an email to the applicant.

2. Applicants will be emailed a link for the online Caliper Test and they will be required to take this within four days of receiving the same. You will need Internet Access to take the Caliper Test. The Caliper Profile is a comprehensive assessment which provides measures of your potential to demonstrate those competencies which are essential aspects of successful leadership and management - influencing, managing relationships, interpersonal skill, problem solving, decision making and personal organization and time management.
There will be around 150 multiple choice questions in the Caliper. The questions would be based on how candidates respond to different situations.

3. Candidates will then be shortlisted on the basis of their Application profile, video resume and calliper assessment. Shortlisted candidates will appear for the Talent Appreciation Process (TAP) which is an interview by senior leaders from the SOIL Industry Consortium Companies along with the SOIL faculty.
Prior to appearing for the TAP, shortlisted candidates will need to submit 5 essay questions & 2 recommendations. The recommendation form is a standard format that can be downloaded from the SOIL website in word doc. The essay questions need to be answered in 200-300 words and are about the candidates career and personal aspirations.
SOIL will conduct the TAP across the cities of Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Delhi/NCR. Shortlisted candidates will be informed their TAP venue and time over email.

Who can apply to the Business Leadership program?

Graduates with a minimum of 3 years of work experience can apply for the Business Leadership Program.

Is there a part time program for working executives?

Currently there are no part-time programs. These will be offered by SOIL at a later date. There are however open enrolment Executive Education programs. Please see the Executive Education page for further details

How many students will be admitted for the program?

Batch size for each of the programs is 60 students (This year BLP will increase to 80).

Are placements guaranteed after the course?

Placements are not guaranteed. SOIL has formed an industry consortium consisting of leading companies across various industry segments. These companies partner with us in leading the placement process. SOIL also invites several other firms for placement opportunities.

What is the duration of the program?

The program begins on 14th May and lasts for one year.

Do you have Industry internship as part of the Programs?

Instead of an internship students undertake live projects with companies during the course. These will be completed simultaneously with the classes.

Do you have affiliations with any foreign universities?

We have signed partnerships with 3 international Business Schools. These are MIP (Milano Instituto Politecnico) in Milan, Italy. BGI (Bainbridge Graduate Institute) in Seattle, USA and University of New Brunswick in Canada. The partnerships include exchange programs that will typically be of 4-6 weeks between the time period of January – March.

Are there any residential facilities for students?

For students requiring residential accommodation, the institute will provide assistance in finding suitable accommodation in close proximity to the institute.

Where is the campus?

The SOIL campus is a 5 minute walk from the upcoming Metro Station. The address is Plot no. 76, Sector 44, Gurgaon. It is located close to the Apparel House (Epicentre).

Is there any loan assistance provided to students?

SOIL has partnered with Punjab National Bank, Bank of Baroda and HDFC for their educational loan schemes that shall be made available to our students.
