Professor of Marketing & Social Innovation
Atindra is a full-time Professor of Marketing & Social Innovation at School of Inspired Leadership (SOIL). Prior to SOIL, he was associated with Institute for Integrated Learning in Management (IILM), Greater Noida for six years, as an Associate Professor of Marketing. He was also the Dean (Academics) at IILM Graduate School of Management, Greater Noida handling their AICTE approved PGDM program.
In addition to his academic experience, Atindra has 18 years of experience in the industry and has worked with brands like Amul, Dhara, Vadilal, Ravi Fans, Lovett etc. at the national level. His expertise lies is in areas of Channel Management, Sales Force Management, Retail Management, Consumer Behaviour and Entrepreneurship. He is also an honorary faculty with the National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN) of the Wadhwani Foundation and is on the Mentor Advisory Panel of Bharatiya Yuva Shakti Trust (BYST), an NGO working for micro-enterprise financing and mentoring.
Atindra is also a Board Member of Academy of International Business (India Chapter) and has organised two intearnational conferences at IILM, the last one being in 2009 in association with UNCTAD India. He has also presented a joint paper at the Asian Development Bank (ADB) conference at Beijing on the emerging area of public-private partnership in entrepreneurship.
After his graduation, Atindra went for his Masters in Management Studies with specialization in Marketing from Banaras Hindu University. He also has a Diploma in German Language.

Anil has 21 years of General Management and International Business Development Experience in Telecom, Government, Banking, and Education& Training Industry. His expertise includes Startup management, Turnarounds, Change, International Relations & Cross Cultural Management, Strategy, Execution & Leadership, Deal Structuring & Negotiations, Growth Management & Business Development, Relationship Management, New Product Development & rollout, P&L, ROI Accountability.
He has previously worked with NIIT India and is the country head & founder of Gemalto France, Net1 Technologies (Austria & South Africa). Currently he is consulting for a Danish MNC in the area of Mobile Entertainment and Mobile Ticketing for Asia markets. He is also the visiting faculty for MBA programs at IIFT, BIMTECH, TERI University, apart from being the member of Advisory Business Council for International Business of BIMTECH.

Ankur is currently Head of Groupon APAC Emerging Markets (India, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines) in addition to being the CEO of Groupon India. Groupon is the global leader in group buying spread across 48 countries, with a valuation of over USD 25 Bn.
Previously Ankur was a co-founder at Accentium Web, which runs leading websites such as SecondShaadi.com (India’s largest re-marriage portal), Gaadi.com (India’s largest auto portal – sold to the Ibibo Group in Mar 2011), StudyNation.com (India’s largest education portal), AdLift.com (India’s leading SEO Agency) amongst others. He exited the business in Oct 2010.
Before the entrepreneurship bug bit him, Ankur used to chase airline frequent flier miles as a management consultant with A.T. Kearney for 3 years. He doesn’t know what to do with his suits and ties any longer!
He holds an MBA degree from the Indian School of Business and an MS Degree in Physics from Michigan State University. Ankur did his graduated from Hindu College, Delhi University
Dr. Chiranjeev Kohli
Visiting Faculty, Marketing Strategy
Chiranjeev holds a Ph.D. in Marketing from Indiana University, and an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. His dissertation received honorable mention in the International Doctoral Dissertation Competition.
He is Professor of Marketing at California State University Fullerton, and was honored with the Business School’s Outstanding Faculty Award for 1998/1999 and Distinguished Faculty Award for 1999/2000; and again as Outstanding Faculty for 2008/2009. He also received the Best Professor Award from the University’s Associated Students, Inc. for the year 2002/2003. In 2008, he was honored as the Outstanding Professor for the School of Business.
He is the founder principal of I.D.ENTITY, specializing in brand and corporate identity. His research has been reported in academic journals and newspapers including European Journal of Marketing, Harvard Business Review, Ivey Business Journal, Journal of Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Advertising Research, Journal of Business Research, The Los Angeles Times and The Orange County Register. National Public Radio has also done a segment on his work. In 1999, he was honored by the Young Presidents Organization of Southern California for excellence in academia; and in January, 2000, he was nominated for the Pattishall Award, sponsored by the Brand Names Education Foundation, for excellence in teaching trademark related topics. He has consulted for a wide variety of companies, including Alcatel Lucent, Autodesk, Bionutrics, Canon USA, Convergys, Del Taco, KFC, Odetics, Quaker Oats, Regency Healthcare, Spherion, Taco Bell, and Verizon.
He has been invited as a keynote speaker to several organizations, and has been nominated to the American Marketing Association’s National Speakers Directory. He has offered several seminars in the United States, Germany, Hong Kong, and Sweden. A comedian by avocation, he won the Indiana University Comedy Competition and has opened for Dennis Miller of Saturday Night Live! He enjoys spending time with his family, international travel, nature, and photography.
Visiting Faculty, Integrated Marketing Communication
Freda has over 25 years of corporate experience in Marketing and Advertising, and 8 years in academics. She has graduated with a PGDM from the IIM-A, and an MS in Communications from Illinois State University, USA. Her ad agency experience was extensive at LINTAS and JW Thompson and as a Vice-President with Branch Management responsibility at Advertising & Sales Promotion (ASP – a C K Birla group ad agency). She was Head – Marketing Communications at Goodyear India Ltd., and was also the Senior General Manager – Marketing at DSS Mobile Communications.
Her academic specializations are in the areas of Strategic Brand Management, Consumer Behavior and Integrated Marketing Communications. Her research interests are in the areas of Brand and Advertising. She is currently conducting research studies in the cultural dimensions of Indian advertising. She has presented papers in Marketing at conferences in India and abroad, conducted Management Development programs in Client and Customer management and Personal Branding, besides her areas of specialization. She has also been the Program Director for several seminars in the area of Marketing.

Ishan Gupta is a passionate education entrepreneur, investor, speaker and a published author.
He is currently leading EduKart.com, one of India’s leading online self paced learning portals that provides high quality and industry relevant certificate courses at affordable price points.
Prior to launching Edukart.com, Ishan was managing the One97 Mobility Fund, a $100 million venture fund. One97 Mobility Fund happens to be the only mobile sector focused fund in India. He has also worked as a General Manager at One97 Communications and was responsible for new product creation at One97. Before working at One97, Ishan was leading the growth and marketing efforts of Facebook in India as its sole representative in the country.
He had earlier founded Appin Knowledge Solutions, an education services company in India. Appin Knowledge Solutions is currently one of the leading players in the field of information security training and consulting. Ishan has also worked at Helion Venture Partners, an India focused venture fund.
He is a published author – he published the book “Make the Move – Demystifying Entrepreneurship” in 2007. The book has a foreword by Sabeer Bhatia, founder of Hotmail and a message from then President of India, Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam. The book also contains views from some of the leading entrepreneurs from India. Consequently, he was featured on Young Turks, CNBC for his work in the field of education and promoting entrepreneurship. The book has sold more than 10,000 copies till date.
He has a MBA from Stanford University, California, USA and a Bachelor of Engineering from University of Delhi, India.

Mr. Prasad Subramaniam is a management and marketing professional, and has extensive experience and achievements in the field of brand building and marketing communications, having been involved with some of the country’s leading companies as their partner in leading advertising agencies.
He is presently the Chairman of Publicis Capital, which is now a part of Publicis Group, today the world’s largest and the fastest growing advertising network. Publicis Capital handles the advertising for Nestle, HP, L’Oreal and many other large brands other than the brands originally handled by Capital.
Previously he has had stints with Rediffusion Advertising and Clarion Advertising in various capacities. Technology, Music and reading are key interest areas.

Sudhir has over 42 years of work experience in various functions of General Management, Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, HR and Consultancy.
Worked with Crompton Greaves ltd (7 yrs), Exide Industries Ltd (28yrs) – where he held various leadership positions before being appointed to the main Board (10 yrs) first as Director Automotive (Profit centre Head) then as Director Corporate Affairs for the Company- including HR, Training and Corporate Social Responsibility. He retired from Exide in 2006 and has since been involved in management education and Consulting. He has served on various committees of CII, Bengal Chambers of Commerce, is past president of Calcutta Management Association and was Director General of Indian Battery Manufacturers Association (IBMA).
An Electrical Engineer from BITS Pilani with Diploma in Marketing Management, University of Bombay, and Executive Development programmes at IIM Ahmedabad and Cranefield School of Management, UK – Sudhir has been visiting faculty at Management Development Programs at IIM Kolkata and Calcutta Management Association. He is on the academic council of Globsyn Business School (Kolkata). He teaches credit courses at three management institutes in areas of Business Strategy, Marketing and Management of Change.
His areas of experience include Strategic and Corporate planning, Manufacturing, Marketing, Organization Structuring and change initiatives, HR Development, Collaborations and Technology absorption. He has extensive Coaching and Consulting Experience, having played the role of an assessor for over 900 senior level executives from various premier Indian and international companies and Executive Coaching assignments for over 40 apex/senior level executives.

Sunil has 25 years of diverse experience working with leading business organizations in India, in the banking, media, and consulting sectors, He has also played an entrepreneurial role in helping grow a small partnership firm to a publicly listed company with the distinction of issuing the most successful IPO in the Indian media sector ever, with subscriptions exceeding US $ 1 billion. He was also part of the Palladium Group’s consulting team in India as Principal Consultant where he assisted companies in their strategy management processes. He was also part of a World bank funded team that worked with numerous Indian companies, across sectors in helping these companies develop overseas markets with a focus on the Triad countries.
He teaches Strategy, International Business and Innovation Management to MBA students in leading business schools in India. He is also a faculty and a mentor for the Goldman Sachs “10,000 Women Entrepreneurs Initiative”. He continues to consult in strategy for companies in India and the Middle East. He is also active in conducting executive education programs. He is also a Principal at the IXL-Center, a Cambridge (Boston) based firm engaged in consulting and training for Innovation.
Sunil has trained extensively with Arthur D. Little at Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, in International Business Strategy. He has also practiced and trained extensively with Kaplan and Norton’s (Harvard Business School) Balanced Scorecard Collaborative in the area of Strategy Execution. He has a full-time MBA from the Indian Institute of Management at Lucknow and Bachelors (Hons) in Economics. Sunil’s research interests include the Internationalization of firms from Emerging Economies.

Susmita has over two decades of experience with India’s leading Retail and Market Research Organizations. In her most recent role she worked as Head – Consumer Insights & Retail Analytics, Bharti Walmart India. Earlier she has served as the Vice President, Marketing Services at Subhiksha and as Associate Vice President at IMRB International. Strong Insights on both Retail processes as well Consumer Behavior gained by Strategizing / Planning Marketing & Merchandising initiatives as well as implementing the same on ground. Ability to draw out relevant & actionable learning’s from Catchment Researches, Brand Tracks, Communication Development, Category Understanding, Product / Concept and Pricing Researches, In–shop observations, Mystery Shopping exercises etc. She has lived and worked in all the four regions in India and thus has a first-hand understanding of consumers across the country. She enjoys reading, traveling, cooking and writes a food blog.
Visiting Faculty, Selling and Negotiation Skills
Venkat has spent many years driving Excellence in Execution in business and sales. With close to 20 years of business experience, Venkat has now established Tripura Multinational in India and Singapore to focus on the tremendous potential that Asia offers. Until July 2010, Venkat was a Senior Director for Microsoft and was the COO for their Enterprise and Partner Business. His 14 year career with Microsoft spanned many roles, including frontline sales and sales management, Industry management, Sales strategy and Operations, and Business Planning. His span of operations included India and all Asia Pacific countries, which brings out his rich understanding of different cultures, and appreciation for diversity. Prior to Microsoft, Venkat was with Wipro InfoTech in a frontline sales capacity. Venkat is a First Class graduate in Computer Engineering from the University of Pune.
Venkat is an experienced coach, certified through the Results Coaching methodology. He currently utilizes his coaching and training skills to coach Directors and managers at many MNCs, including Microsoft and SAP, which has resulted in the significant increase of trust within teams, and also in improvement of their individual and collective performance. He is also a certified Six Sigma Green Belt and has applied this methodology to improve the alignment and effectiveness of teams.
