Founder and CEO, School of Inspired Leadership
Anil is the Founder and CEO of the School of Inspired Leadership. Presently, he also serves as the dean of SOIL. Anil has been adjunct Faculty to leading business schools such as Indian School of Business, Kelly School of Business, Indiana University, GMI, Flint Michigan, Antioch University, Seattle and Ohio University, Athens, Ohio. Given his belief in the power of education, Anil decided to create SOIL- the School of Inspired Leadership to provide management education with focus on ethics, community partnerships, sustainability and other leadership aspects that the world of today badly needs.
Recognised as a thought leader in talent management, leadership development and organizational transformation, Anil has spoken at national and global conferences all over the world and has written contributory pieces for leading publications. He is active in management circles and has held several public offices such a Chairman of National Committee on Industrial relations and Regional Committee on Human Resource Development of Confederation Indian Industry. Anil serves as the Trustee of the Chinmaya Mission, an inspiring ‘Not for Profit’ Institution and the Charities Aid Foundation, a global NGO. He has received several National Awards including ‘The HR Professional of the Year’.
In 2012, Anil was re-appointed as the Chair of the CII National Committee on Leadership Development for the year 2012-13. He has also been appointed as a member of CEDEP Academic Committee. CEDEP is an Executive Education Consortium, founded in 1970 in association with INSEAD to design and develop innovative open enrollment, company specific programmes for its members. CEDEP today brings together 22 member companies from a wide range of countries including the USA, India, France,Great Britain, the Netherlands, and Australia. Mr. Sachdev was also awarded the Learning Luminary Award, in recognition of his sustained, path-defining contributions to the sphere of Learning & OD by the Learning and Organization Development Roundtable, a not-for-profit society driving the cause of Learning & Organizational Development (L & OD) across India and Asia.
After completing his MBA from the University of Pune in 1975 Anil joined Tata Motors and then the Eicher Group in 1978. In 1991 he became the founder CEO of Eicher Consultancy Services and later brought A.T. Kearney to India. He later founded Grow Talent – the leading player in Education and HR Consulting.

Visiting Faculty, Pillars of Inspired Leadership through Theatre
In a teaching career spanning 17 years, Amrita has taught students of all ages, and across several educational systems, and now combines her love for teaching and for theatre in ways that are meaningful to students and herself. She has been teaching theatre at the Shri Ram School and The National Open School. She also teaches a Practicum Course in “Drama In Exploration” at the University of Delhi to students of the Bachelor’s in Elementary Education Programme.
She has been organizing workshops for students in various aspects of Theatre Production with the ultimate objective that some among them will be inspired to do it on their own for school as well as for other events. She has also worked on a film project with a documentary film maker, Ein Lal, under the auspices of INTACH (Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage). This is one of many films that are being made for schools with the objective of sensitizing young people to different cultures that exist in India.
Amrita Lalljee uses Drama as a medium to work with students with special needs in the areas of confidence building, stress relief, team building and self acceptance and empowerement for the past three years.
Amrita has been trained in, and delivered 32 sessions of a devised piece in Theatre-In-Education to Primary Schools in Leeds in England in 2002. The piece was part of their curriculum and was based on George Elliot’s Silas Marner.
She has graduated as a B.A. (Hons) in Psychology from Jesus and Mary College, New Delhi. She has also submitted a dissertation on “A comparative study on creativity in children from Formal / Traditional schools and Non-formal / Open schools”.
Dr. Paul Tolchinsky

Paul has been consulting to major public and private corporations around the world for the past thirty-five years. He has extensive experience in creating and implementing business strategy; managing and facilitating large system change efforts; new plant design and entrepreneurial start-ups; and redesigning and restructuring organizations (both public and private). Paul’s expertise is in the design of organizations, applying socio-technical principles and Whole-Scale™ Change Approaches to the process of change in organizations. He is internationally known as a pioneer in the development of Whole-Scale (Whole System) Approaches to change. He is currently focused on Leadership and Leadership challenges in the 21st century and works closely with leaders as they explore what they must do to mobilize, energize and invigorate their organizations.
He has co-authored of two books: Whole-Scale Change: Unleashing the Magic in Organizations (Berrett Koehler, 2000) and Unleashing the Magic: A Toolkit (2000). In addition to his numerous articles, his work is featured in Large Group Interventions (Bunker and Alban, 1997), Fusion Leadership, Daft and Lengel (1998) and The Change Handbook: Group Methods for Shaping the Future, Holman and Devane (1999), and Holman, Devane and Cady,(2005). Dr. Tolchinsky is listed in Who’s Who in Science and Technology and Who’s Who in the Midwest. Swaminathan is from a behavioural science background with a doctorate in Organizational Behavior. He did his post doctoral diploma in training and development from ISTD, New Delhi. His 20 years of professional experience includes teaching, research, facilitation, assessment, mentoring, coaching, administration and institution building.
He is a motivational speaker and has addressed various forums like NIPM, ISTD and MMA. He has appeared in talks shows of Kalaignar TV and Moon TV.He has authored courseware on Psychology and Human Resource Management for many South Indian Universities. He has published several articles in journals of repute and presented papers at National and International conferences.
As a qualified psychologist, he standardized and administered several psychometric tests to thousands of professionals and non- professionals across his professional career and they are widely used in many organizations. Thomas International certified him on Thomas personal profile analysis. He is also a consultant to some MNCs. He has the privilege of working closely with more than 50 CEOs in connection with their developmental needs.

Visiting Faculty, Pillars of Inspired Leadership through Theatre
Lushin has done her Masters in History from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi, and a Masters in Science in Continuing Education with emphasis on Special education, from the University of Southern Connecticut, USA, Lushin Dubey taught mentally challenged children for several years in the U.S and India. In 1987, Lushin co-founded KidsWorld, which pioneered youth theatre in India and has staged over 30 productions in English and Hindi. She was also instrumental in setting up United Players Guild in 1995, focused on Shakespeare, whose 1997 production of Othello, with her in the lead role of Desdemona, won the Edinburgh Fringe First. In 2008 she played Lady Macbeth in Macbeth directed by Alyque Padamsee. Her two solos Untitled (on women empowerment) and Bitter Chocolate (on child sexual abuse) , directed by Arvind Gaur, and her recent production Muskaan ( a journey of two people living with HIV) have been staged across cities in India and venues abroad such as the World Bank, Smithsonian, Berkeley, Harvard, Stanford (USA), and Nehru Centre (UK). Lushin has acted the lead in several TV serials and films and was awarded the 2008 Gemini Award in Toronto, Canada for her role in the film Murder Unveiled. In 2009 she received two awards from Chief Minister Shiela Dixit: The Senior Journalists’ Award for Best Stage Actress – National, and the Radha Raman Foundation Award for Outstanding Commitment to Theatre. She was also recipient of the 2009 Karmaveer Puraskar for socially meaningful theatre by the Indian Confederation of NGOs. She is currently involved in staging, ‘Salaam India’, directed by her and inspired by the diplomat, Pavan Varma’s best seller, ‘Being Indian’, in cities in India and overseas. This production speaks about the Indian today keeping pace with the globalised world, without shedding its traditions of the past.

Nithya Shanti supports leaders and committed individuals in awakening their own natural wisdom and applying it to their arena of influence.He is a spiritual teacher, writer, integral educator and modern day sage. He is committed to sharing transformational principles and practices for true happiness with individuals, corporations, government bodies and international organizations He studied business management at XLRI, Jamshedpur and then worked in the field of Human Resources and Corporate Strategy. Since his teenage years he felt a deep yearning for spiritual growth and innermastery. In 2001 he left his corporate career to ordain as a forest meditation monk in Thailand. For six years he underwent rigorous monastic training living with meditation masters in the remote forests of South East Asia.
At a certain stage in his practice he felt guided to shift his emphasis from secluded practice to engaged spirituality. With the blessings of his teachers he stepped out of the monk role so he could transmit the timeless principles he had learnt in a modern context. Nithya Shanti spreads happiness by example, by being a shining presence of joy and gratitude.
He is gifted in the ability to share profound teachings in light-hearted ways. His capacity to inspire, elucidate complex subjects and offer practical transformational teachings has been appreciated by friends around the world. Since 2007 he has been conducting workshops (which he calls “Joyshops”), meditation retreats and training programs in India, Nepal, USA, Singapore and Australia.
His achievements are diverse – he has taught at Columbia University (New York), coached CEOs, taught meditation and spiritual principles for happiness to psychiatrists, school and college teachers, jail inmates, senior government officials, security forces, etc. His work has been widely recognized and featured in leading publications and electronic media in many parts of the world. Simon is an educator and a facilitator, working with a diverse range of organizations, educational institutions, and individuals. His passion and experience is in the areas of adult learning modalities, creativity and innovation, organizational performance and resilience, leadership and personal development, cross-cultural intelligence, and sustainable development. He has been doing this work with a variety of organizations, such as Andersen Consulting, Ausenco, Australian Institute of Management, Australian National University, Brunei Shell Petroleum, Bainbridge Graduate Institute, and Royal Roads University (among many others). Simon has worked, lived, and traveled in Russia, Israel, Europe, North and South America, and a little bit of Asia and Australia, which allows him to keep enriching his experience through diverse cultural lens.
Simon holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Sciences (Israel), M.Sc. in Information and Systems Sciences (Canada), M.A. in Leadership and Adult Learning (Canada), and is currently completing a Ph.D. in Eco-Psychology (US).
Visiting Faculty, Wellness
Susie was initiated to Wellness through the International Sivananda Yoga School in Kerala, India, Susie completed basic and advanced training programs. She continued her studies with several international teachers from different yoga traditions. She has done intensive workshops with international teachers such as her own teacher Mansoor with whom she has been working since 1999 in India and Switzerland (residential 8 day retreats three times a year), with Bob Smith in the USA, Clive Sheridan in the UK and most recently with Aadil Palkivala in the USA.
Basic postures, breathing and relaxation techniques form the core of her teaching of Yoga practice. Also included are techniques leading to meditation. She holds a BSc. Hon. Dietetics from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa and a Diploma in Hospital Dietetics from the University of Iowa Hospitals, Iowa City.
She has around 25 years of experience in the fields of Marketing, Market Research and Executive Capability Development across organizations such as Asian Paints, Funskool (India), Mode Research and NIS Sparta Limited. Her experience includes marketing strategy development and implementation, marketing and social research, configuring training solutions, development and delivery of training programs for senior management.
As a consultant of long standing, Vijayalakshmi has trained and taught senior management of public and private sector organizations on leadership, strategy, communication, change management and instructional design and development. In addition she has been a visiting Faculty at the Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University.
At NIS Sparta, Vijayalakshmi was involved in the setting up of several new initiatives—the corporate training division, the insurance training division and the Corporate Research Centre of Instructional Design. She was also a member of the Executive Committee with profit center responsibilities, and Corporate Communications and Marketing.
Vijayalakshmi is an Engineer from College of Engineering Guindy and an MBA (gold medalist) from the Faculty of Management Studies of Delhi University. She also holds a Masters degree in Sociology from Annamalai University.
Dr. Milton J. Bennett
Visiting Faculty, Intercultural Communication
Milton is the founder and director of the Intercultural Development Research Institute co-located in Oregon, USA and Milan, Italy and was a founding director of the Intercultural Communication Institute in Portland, Oregon. He was a tenured faculty member in the Department of Communication Studies at Portland State University, where he created their graduate program in intercultural communication, and he is now an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Sociology at the University of Milano-Bicocca in Italy, where he teaches in the graduate program of Social Service Management and Political Policy.
He is on the faculty of several executive leadership programs and is a core faculty member in the IDRAcademy curriculum of constructivist intercultural communication. He is known for originating the Developmental Model of Intercultural Sensitivity and he is the co-author of American Cultural Pattern: A Cross-Cultural Approach, author and editor of Basic Concepts of Intercultural Communication: Paradigms, Principles, & Practices (published in English, Italian, and Chinese), and a contributing co-editor of the Handbook of Intercultural Training, 3rd Edition (also translated into Chinese). He consults with corporate and academic organizations in Europe, Asia, and the US on topics of multicultural diversity, intercultural competence, and global leadership.
Dr. Claudio Dell’Era

Claudio is Assistant Professor in the Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering of Politecnico di Milano, where he serves also as Co-Director of MaDe In Lab, the Laboratory of Management of Design and Innovation of MIP Politecnico di Milano. Research activities developed by Claudio Dell’Era are concentrated in the area of Management of Innovation. Specifically research interests are about two main streams: the former concentrates on innovation strategies developed by leading companies that operate in design-intensive industries where symbolic and emotional values represents critical success factors to generate competitive advantage (Management of Design-Driven Innovation); while the latter analyzes approaches and practices adopted during innovation processes by high-tech companies that face turbulent environments (Management of Technological Innovations in Turbulent Environments). He has published in relevant international journals, such as Journal of Product Innovation Management, Long Range Planning, R&D Management, International Journal of Operations & Production Management, Industry & Innovation, International Journal of Innovation Management. Claudio Dell’Era’s paper investigating the development of new services in turbulent environments won the Best Paper Award at the EIASM (European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management) International Product Development Management Conference in 2004.

Dr. Svjetlana Madzar

Svjetlana is a Senior Lecturer in the Strategic Management and Organization department at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management and focuses on High Performance Organizations. She teaches International Management and Management of Groups courses in the MBA and executive MBA programs. She leads the virtual team project in the Global Executive MBA program and also teaches in this program in Warsaw, Poland. Prior to joining CSOM, she was an associate professor at Gustavus Adolphus College. Svjetlana has worked with a variety of multinational corporations on issues related to managing across cultures and has held visiting appointments in MBA and executive programs at European business schools such as HEC (France) and Instituto de Empresa (Spain). She recently taught in Fortune Institute of International Business in Delhi, India. Her research focuses on subordinate information seeking behavior in cross-cultural contexts. She is a recipient of a 2002-2004 National Science Foundation grant which allowed her to study the differences between US, Italian, Spanish, French, and British subordinate information seeking patterns of employees working for a large U.S.-based multinational company. Svjetlana earned her doctoral and master degrees from the University of Minnesota. She is a member of the Academy of Management and Academy of International Business.

In his career of over three decades prior to consulting he worked with NIT- Krukshetra; Indian Airlines; Modi Xerox (later Xerox India) and Motorola (Motorola University). Major part of his work in this period had been in the area of Learning and Development; ranging from Technical Training to Management Training to TQM to Management Development and later as Executive Director – Human Resources and Quality at Xerox India.

Dr. Francois Dupuy
A former partner with Mercer Delta, a global organization strategy and change management firm, Francois is a former faculty member at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University and at INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France. The author of ten books including Sharing Knowledge, The Chemistry of Change, and The Customer’s Victory, he won the Manpower Award in 1999 for the latter. His latest book Le Fatigue des Elites was published in 2006.
Francois works with multinational corporations to identify organizational barriers to successful change and business growth. The diagnostic process illuminates the organizational context (place) and practice (behavior) that is preventing successful adoption and implementation of business objectives. He has worked with top management teams in Air France, Air Liquide, Bobst (Switzerland), Credit Lyonnais, CGNU (UK), Electrabel (Belgium), France Telecom, Fortis Bank (Belgium), L’Oreal, Monsanto (USA), Renault, Societe Generale and Telecom Italia.
An executive educator at INSEAD Advanced Management program and multiple custom programs for organizations around the world, his teaching evaluations at INSEAD place him among the top 10% of all program faculty. He received a BA in History from La Sorbonne in 1969, a BA and MBA in Political Science at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques (1971 and 1973 respectively). He has a basic degree in Science (Chemistry) from Gujarat University and has done his Post-Graduate studies in Human Resource Management, Behavioural Sciences and Organisational Development from Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI) Jamshedpur. He also has a degree in law, specialising in Labour Law and a degree in teaching (B.Ed).

Kalpana Sinha is CEO and Co Founder of Cosmode Consultants. An organisation focussed on Building Leadership and Organisation Capability. She has over twenty years of rich experience in human capital management, learning, and organization development—passionate about aligning the disciplines with business strategy creation and implementation. She has also built world-class human resources teams and systems. She is an executive coach and trusted advisor to senior business leaders and has facilitated over 500 workshops at senior leadership levels. Prior to this she was Director – People and Organization Capability at Microsoft Corporation for sales and marketing in Asia Pacific, and in in India across many business units. Her last assignment was Senior Vice President at McCann World Group working on an world wode organization transformation agenda. She is passionate about work in women in leadership. She has to her credit a book edited by her on Empowerment of Women in South Asia, published by AMDISA in 2001 and is currently pursuing a research initiative ‘Accelerating Women in Leadership – India’ to understand what practices accelerate the development of women as leaders, and how having women in leadership roles contributes to organizational results. The goal will be to also explore perspectives and practices concerning how organisations identify and develop women leaders. She has also been a pioneer is applying neuroscience to leadership development and change initiatives. Venkatesh has a Masters in Social Work (MSW) Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from Madras University, Chennai. He is a Managing Partner of People Maths Consultancy Services, PMCS is a business enabling firm which works on two critical business intersection(s) of Strategy & Execution ; Business & HR.
He brings in a rich experience of 20 years in Human Resources in varied settings. Dr.N.R.Parasuraman has 27 years of experience in diverse areas of finance. He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries and the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants, apart from being a Law graduate. His PhD was on the subject “Capital Structuring of Indian Companies”. He was the Company Secretary of Federal Bank for 5 years.
He has worked as Finance Manager of KEK group of Companies, Trivandrum and as a Securities Analyst for Joindre Capital Services, Mumbai. He has been in full-time academics for the last twelve years. His special areas of teaching and research are Strategy, Financial Derivatives and Multinational Finance.
He has published 25 papers and concept articles in various journals. He has authored a book titled ‘Fundamentals of Financial Derivatives’ published by Wiley India Limited, which figured in the Business World top 10 management bestsellers in August, 2008. Prof. Neetika Batra is a graduate from SRCC, and masters in finance from Delhi University. She was a rank holder at school and university level. She started her career in the year 1990 in Investment banking with SBI Capital Markets Ltd. There, she was initially heading an equity scheme of SBI Mutual Fund. Thereafter, she was heading the team of Corporate finance professionals as Vice President for several years, handling activities like issue management, funds syndication, project advisory services and so on. Then she co-founded her own boutique investment banking company in 2005, which later got merged with another investment bank. Simultaneously, she started getting involved in teaching and consulting assignments. She has been in the academic world for the last about eight years and was a visiting faculty to many prestigious B-schools, teaching a variety of core and specialization subjects in Finance. Simultaneously, she was into designing and conducting various MDPs and corporate training programs.

Atindra is a full-time Professor of Marketing & Social Innovation at School of Inspired Leadership (SOIL). Prior to SOIL, he was associated with Institute for Integrated Learning in Management (IILM), Greater Noida for six years, as an Associate Professor of Marketing. He was also the Dean (Academics) at IILM Graduate School of Management, Greater Noida handling their AICTE approved PGDM program.
In addition to his academic experience, Atindra has 18 years of experience in the industry and has worked with brands like Amul, Dhara, Vadilal, Ravi Fans, Lovett etc. at the national level. His expertise lies is in areas of Channel Management, Sales Force Management, Retail Management, Consumer Behaviour and Entrepreneurship. Chiranjeev holds a Ph.D. in Marketing from Indiana University, and an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. His dissertation received honorable mention in the International Doctoral Dissertation Competition.
He is Professor of Marketing at California State University Fullerton, and was honored with the Business School’s Outstanding Faculty Award for 1998/1999 and Distinguished Faculty Award for 1999/2000; and again as Outstanding Faculty for 2008/2009. He also received the Best Professor Award from the University’s Associated Students, Inc. for the year 2002/2003. In 2008, he was honored as the Outstanding Professor for the School of Business.
He is the founder principal of I.D.ENTITY, specializing in brand and corporate identity. His research has been reported in academic journals and newspapers including European Journal of Marketing, Harvard Business Review, Ivey Business Journal, Journal of Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Advertising Research, Journal of Business Research, The Los Angeles Times and The Orange County Register. National Public Radio has also done a segment on his work. Freda has over 25 years of corporate experience in Marketing and Advertising, and 8 years in academics. She has graduated with a PGDM from the IIM-A, and an MS in Communications from Illinois State University, USA. Her ad agency experience was extensive at LINTAS and JW Thompson and as a Vice-President with Branch Management responsibility at Advertising & Sales Promotion (ASP – a C K Birla group ad agency). She was Head – Marketing Communications at Goodyear India Ltd., and was also the Senior General Manager – Marketing at DSS Mobile Communications.
Her academic specializations are in the areas of Strategic Brand Management, Consumer Behavior and Integrated Marketing Communications. He retired from Exide in 2006 and has since been involved in management education and Consulting. He has served on various committees of CII, Bengal Chambers of Commerce, is past president of Calcutta Management Association and was Director General of Indian Battery Manufacturers Association (IBMA).

He was also part of the Palladium Group’s consulting team in India as Principal Consultant where he assisted companies in their strategy management processes. He was also part of a World bank funded team that worked with numerous Indian companies, across sectors in helping these companies develop overseas markets with a focus on the Triad countries.
He teaches Strategy, International Business and Innovation Management to MBA students in leading business schools in India. Venkat has spent many years driving Excellence in Execution in business and sales. With close to 20 years of business experience, Venkat has now established Tripura Multinational in India and Singapore to focus on the tremendous potential that Asia offers. Until July 2010, Venkat was a Senior Director for Microsoft and was the COO for their Enterprise and Partner Business. His 14 year career with Microsoft spanned many roles, including frontline sales and sales management, Industry management, Sales strategy and Operations, and Business Planning. His span of operations included India and all Asia Pacific countries, which brings out his rich understanding of different cultures, and appreciation for diversity. Prior to Microsoft, Venkat was with Wipro InfoTech in a frontline sales capacity. Venkat is a First Class graduate in Computer Engineering from the University of Pune.

Arvind has over 30 years of operating experience across retail and consumer product companies. He was formerly the CEO of Domino’s Pizza India (currently Jubilant Foodworks), where he reinvented the business model and restructured the team to achieve a turnaround.
Subsequent to this, he was the CEO at Jumbo Electronics, where he managed 18 divisions, across Dubai, Singapore, Oman, Bahrain and Sudan, and he was Managing Director at DLF Retail Developers, where he was responsible for the development and management of all 20 (completed and under construction) malls in India.
He is currently working with IEP on making several platform investments in the quick service restaurant and casual dining restaurant sector. He received a Management Degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
Dr. Karl-Erik Sveiby
Dr. Karl-Erik Sveiby is often described as one of the “founding fathers” of Knowledge Management, having pioneered several of the fundamental concepts. In 1986 he published his first book in Swedish, “Kunskapsföretaget”, which became the source of inspiration for the very early Swedish movement in knowledge management in both research and practice. His book published 1990 (Sw. “Kunskapsledning”) was the world´s first with Knowledge Management in the title. He has since published 12 further books and dozens of articles. His website, www.sveiby.com, contains all his articles and most of his 13 books.
Being co-owner and a manager of a publishing company for 15 years, which he was instrumental in developing into Sweden’s largest in trade press Ekonomi & Teknik Förlag, he recognised the need to measure the intangible assets, and he went on pioneering reporting practices for intangible assets, testing them in his own company. Today he is professor at Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki, researcher, developer of tools and methodologies and advisor to corporations and governments worldwide.
Dr. Lilac Nachum

Dr. Lilach Nachum is a Professor at Zicklin Business School, Baruch College, New YorkPrior to joining Baruch College in 2002, Lilach Nachum was a Senior Research Fellow at Cambridge University, UK, where she was involved in a number of research projects on the activities of foreign firms in London. Earlier, she held a Senior Member position in the Research Division on Foreign Investment and Transnational Corporations at the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland.
In conjunction with these positions, she has been acting as consultant to a number of national and international organizations – including the United Nations, the World Bank, the European Union, London’s Westminster City Council – on issues related to Multinational Corporations and international competitiveness. She holds visiting research and teaching positions at universities around the world, including in Austria, China, Israel, Italy, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK, and has been teaching on Baruch College’s Executive Education programs in New-York, Taiwan, Singapore and Hong-Kong. She is also listed in the Marquis Who’s Who in the World and the Marquis Who’s Who in America.

Dr. William H. Davidson
William started his career in academia. Before his extra-curricular activities prevailed, he served as a tenured Professor of Management at the Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California, from 1985 to 1998. He was also Research Director for the Harvard Multinational Enterprise Research Project at Harvard Business School. He was acknowledged as the most widely cited academic in the field of international management during the 1985-1995 decade. His book 2020 Vision (with Stan Davis) was selected as the Best Business Book of the year by Fortune Magazine in 1992. He has written seven other books on management, including The Amazing Race. His latest book, Breakthrough, was published by John Wiley Press in 2004. He is currently completing a new book entitled GREAT CHINA, co-authored with Wei Zhong Ding.
He was a founding faculty member of the Kokusai Daigaku, a joint US- Japanese international management education university in Japan, and also of the Dalian Institute in Dalian China, the first executive education institute in China, co-sponsored by the US and Chinese governments.
In 1984, hel founded MESA Inc., a management consulting firm acquired by Deloitte & Touche in 1996. As a national partner at Deloitte, Bill had leadership responsibilities in its management consulting practice during 1996-98. After leaving Deloitte, Bill founded a new company, MESA Development, to focus on global strategy and leadership development. MESA’s clients have included over half of the Fortune 100. MESA also conducts the Global Leadership Program for senior executives of a set of leading US, European and Asian corporations.
He has served on six public company boards and a number of private company boards. He is non-executive Chairman of Broadcast Technology (NASDAQ:BCST) and Chairman of Castle Arch Real Estate Company.

As a Certified Professional Coach, Ravi has worked as executive/ business coach both within Hewlett-Packard and externally with clients across the region, improving their skills and competencies to become effective business leaders. He has also served as a mentor to professionals from diverse enterprises within multiple industries.
He is a core member and active volunteer in social development movements. He is an executive committee member and an active instructor in NikamGuruji Yoga Kutir Singapore (one of the oldest voluntary yoga movements in Singapore) which has trained more than 40,000 participants in the last 14 years. He is also an active volunteer and advisor of the Ramakrishna Mission Boys Home, Singapore for more than 15 years. Currently he is involved in the activities of Delhi based voluntary organization Scope Plus and works with students from municipal schools. Ravi is also committed to Coaching and mentoring and volunteers on International Development Projects.

Stephanos George Eapen
Stephanos has spent a decade in research and consulting, and focusing on innovation in the field of management and strategy, he has worked in healthcare/pharmaceuticals, electronics, software and infrastructure industries. As a member of the Blue Ocean Strategy (BOS) Network, he has worked with Chan Kim and Renée Mauborgne in the development and delivery of BOS Programmes and Seminars for Executive Development.
He co-founded Strategy Regeneration a group that uses the BOS to run ‘in company’ workshops. He is an MBA from INSEAD, currently working with the Centre for Social Innovation at INSEAD, developing an approach to adapt BOS methodology to issues around Sustainability and challenges at the Base of the Pyramid.
Bianka Ray Chaudhury

Bianka possesses academic and research experience of over 12 years. She has worked in reputed B-schools like ICFAI and also worked as a Research Associate in Indian Statistical Institute (ISI, Kolkata). She also has a strong academic background. She stood 3rd in her Masters in Economics at the University of Calcutta and was awarded the gold-medal from AIMA for securing the 1st position pan India in her MBA course. Currently working as an Associate Professor at School of Inspired Leadership, in the area of Economics and Quantitative Techniques, her area of interest includes Research Methodology, Market Research, Operation Research and International Business.
Bianka has submitted her PhD in International Business and has also done Advanced Diploma in International Business.
Dr. Subhajyoti Ray
Professor, Business Analytics
Dr. Subhajyoti Ray completed his masters from Indian Statistical Institute and joined the Reserve Bank of India. He has worked with the Bank in the areas of data analysis, data warehousing and research.
In 2000 he joined the doctoral program at IIM Ahmedabad where his area of research was electronic governance. He has published in many international journals and is also on the review board of International Journal of Public Administration in the Digital Age (IJPADA) from IGI-Global.
Before joining SOIL, Dr. Subhajyoti has been working as faculty at Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubneswar (XIMB). He joined XIMB in 2005 and was appointed the Dean in October 2009. He has shouldered significant teaching and administrative responsibilities at XIMB. His teaching interests are in the areas of business statistics and analytics.
He has also been a visiting faculty to institutes like ESSEC in France, Antwerp Management School Belgium, and IIM Ranchi.

Ashutosh is the founder Partner of PROACT Management Consulting. With over 14 years of line and consulting experience, he has been instrumental in several “Transformation” initiatives in a wide spectrum of industries. He has a background in implementation of “Total Quality” Programmes, Six Sigma projects and Business Process Re-engineering initiatives.
He was part of one of the pioneering efforts in the Indian consulting arena pertaining to “Service Quality”. He was instrumental in establishing “Service Quality” as a consulting practice by successfully developing a version of “Service Strategy Deployment” customised to the Indian context. Tested at few of his clients the methodology has been tested and proven successful. This aims at creating a well defined Service Strategy for a Service Organisation and implementing it to achieve Tangible, Measurable, Time-bound business goals that are owned up and well accepted at all levels in the organisation.

Dr. Kingshuk Sinha
Visiting Faculty, Operations and Supply Chain Management
Kingshuk is a Professor in the Operations and Management Science Department and the holder of the Curtis L. Carlson Family Foundation Professorship in Management Science at the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. His degrees include a Ph.D. in Management and an M.S. in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, and a B.Tech (Honors) in Petroleum Engineering from the Indian School of Mines. Before beginning his graduate studies at The University of Texas at Austin he worked for the offshore production and engineering planning groups of Dubai Petroleum Company (operated by Conoco Inc.) in United Arab Emirates.
His areas of scholarly interests are: Management of Technology, Quality Management, Supply Chain Management and Health Care Management. He teaches courses in the MBA, Executive MBA, International MBA, Ph.D., and undergraduate programs. Typically, Dr. Sinha conducts his research projects in partnership with industries. The empirical settings of his research projects have included the high-tech; health care/medical; retail; food; and energy/oil and gas industries. His papers have appeared in journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Decision Sciences, European Journal of Operational Research, Interfaces, Journal of Accounting Research, Journal of Operations Management, Journal of Service Research, Management Science, Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, Organization Science, and Production and Operations Management. Among the recognitions he has received include the Journal of Operations Management’s Best Paper Award, the Stan Hardy Award for the Best Published Paper in Operations Management, the Decision Sciences Institute’s Best Theoretical and Empirical Research Paper Award, the Decision Sciences journal’s Best Paper Award, and the IBM Best Paper Award from the Production and Operations Management Society.
He has served as the Director of the Joseph M. Juran Center for Leadership in Quality, committed to advancing research and education on improvement and innovation in manufacturing and service organizations, and supply chains. He has served as the Founding Academic Director of the Medical Industry Leadership Institute (MILI) that was established to advance management research and leadership education for the medical industry sector. He has served as the Ph.D. Program Coordinator and the MBA Program Coordinator for the Operations and Management Science Department. Dr. Sinha’s roles in professional societies have included serving as the Program Chair for the 2002 Annual Meeting of the Production and Operations Management Society in San Francisco (Conference Theme: “High Tech Production and Operations Management”) and as a Board Member and Secretary of the Society. He serves as a Senior Editor (Management of Technology) of the Production and Operations Management journal and served as the Guest Editor of the journal’s special issue on high tech industry; and as a Senior Editor of the Decision Sciences journal and served as the Guest Editor of the journal’s special issue on decision making in the health sector supply chain.

Ramesh is B.Tech (Honors) in Mechanical Engineering (1968) from IIT, Kharagpur, India and Masters in Industrial Management (1973) from Cranfield University, UK. He has worked for Eicher Group, India (manufacturing Commercial Vehicles, Motorcycles and Agricultural Tractors) at various senior levels for 25 years including as Group Vice Chairman, managing various businesses of the Group, Strategic Planning and Human Resources Development at the corporate level.
As Managing Director of Eicher Tractors, he has to his credit setting up of the new Engine and Tractor plant at Alwar and Bhopal in India. The Company was conferred the National Productivity Council of India’s award for high productivity and quality both for Engine and Tractor plants. As Managing Director of Ramon and Demm Ltd.,he turned around the sick Gear Manufacturing company( Ramon and Demm Ltd.) acquired by Eicher into a state of excellent financial and cultural health. This Company was also conferred the National Productivity Council of India’s award for high productivity and quality.
He started his professional career by working for about 10 years in Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd., his last assignment being Senior Manager responsible for negotiations of technology transfer and project planning for production of Anglo French Jaguar Aircraft at Bangalore.Mr. Jain has been a Board Member/ Advisor to many Corporates and provided them with Strategic and Operational inputs.
He has recently been invited by the Planning Commission and Cabinet Secretariat to guide some of the Ministries of Government of India in preparation of their Strategic Plans for the next five years and also to review the Result Framework Documents of various Ministries and Departments of Government of India and various states. He was member of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) National Council for years 2004-5 and 2005-6. He has been member NR Council, CII since 1997-8 till date.

Ravi introduced Theory of Constraints (TOC) in India and now focuses his efforts on increasing the wealth of his clients through a systematic application of Dr. Eli Goldratt’s Theory of Constraints in Operations Management. He is the first practicing ‘Jonah'(TOC Expert) in India and the founder of Goldratt, India and is personally trained by Dr. Goldratt. Ravi regularly disseminates his knowledge at a number of international conferences. He enjoys striving for the impossible by challenging sacred assumptions and complexity.
For over 34 years, Ravi’s industrial experience has evolved from a core in Manufacturing Engineering through to Total Quality Management and Business Process Re-engineering to the Theory of Constraints (TOC). Prior to founding Goldratt India, Ravi was Chief Consultant at Eicher Consultancy Services Limited. During his consulting career of over 14 years, Ravi has consulted for and with several global organizations, such as L&T, Godrej & Boyce, Salora International, RPG Cables, ABB, Alstom, Indian Aluminum, Dalmia Cement, ICI, Exide and Eicher. Before starting his consulting career, Ravi gained valuable experience for 21 years in operations in the automobile industry (TELCO & Eicher).

Shikha Aggarwal is Assistant Professor of Operations Management at School Of Inspired Leadership, Gurgaon. She completed her doctoral research at MDI Gurgaon in the area of Supply Chain Resilience. Prior to pursuing her Ph.D., she did her masters in business administration from Punjab University. She has vast research experience including field interviews with experts across more than 50 organizations and development of modeling and measurement tools for supply chain practices; and has worked across a multitude of softwares. She has seven international publications to her credit which include a book chapter, conference proceedings, research paper in Thomson Reuters impact factor journal and teaching cases at leading case publishing houses like Harvard Business Publishing, Ivey Publishing etc. Her research interests are in the areas of supply chain collaboration, supply chain risk, supply chain resilience, supply chain disruption, case study research, grounded theory, and research design. Sanjay is Accenture certified Lead SI Solution Architect, SI Delivery Lead and trained AO Solution Architect. Sanjay brings the perfect blend of business strategy, operations, techno‐commercial and academic orientation to the table. He has authored a book titled “Software Project Management” on managing software projects ‘more’ effectively and is an articulate speaker having delivered several technical and management lectures to international audiences. He is regular speaker for various Nasscom and TiE events, and regularly writes for Nasscom on wide ranging topics. He is also visiting faculty for educational institutes.Sanjay currently mentors few start‐ups and serves on their board of directors/advisory board. He also serves on the technical Consultative committee of National University of Education Planning and Administration (NUEPA) for Local School Management Information System (LSMIS). Sanjay developed mathematical model for estimation of multi‐shore software development projects and an estimation model for estimating n‐tier business applications. He is certified Green belt in lean six sigma and has done certifications like Certified in production and Inventory Management (CPIM) and Certified in Integrated Resource Management (CIRM) from APICS USA.

Ullas has over 24 years of diverse experience in the Consulting and Information Technology sector. He has been in the leadership roles for 14 years. He has extensive experience in Business Process Improvement, large scale program management, consulting and general management.
Before setting up his own consulting firm, Ullas worked as Vice President at accenture where he played multiple roles including the Sales Support Lead for global insurance clients, Location Lead for Gurgaon Delivery Center and Delivery Lead for global insurance clients.
He has done a number of consulting assignments involving process consulting, IT Strategy and portfolio analysis and program management for clients in the US, Middle East, Japan, Malaysia and India. He set up the Industry Program for Financial Services at accenture’s India Delivery Center.
