As he walked into the Auditorium, we all could feel the change in the energy surrounding each of us. Escorted by Anil Sir, he was seated in front of us, and we all could see his glowing face with a calm smile, which he kept throughout the session.
The teams from various NGOs then came forward and showcased what they could gather & learn at SIP & CORD’s Village Visit. Apne Aap presented a skit on Rescuing Females, WSS enacted their experience and learning from the Village Visit and expressed their concerns about the entire community.
This was followed by a Nukkar Naatak by CARE, India team and they demonstrated it around the theme of ‘Women Empowerment’ and how she is adding value to the community. Then Mobile Crèches did an emotional mime act and portrayed their cause of educating children of construction workers. Finally, Asharshila & UNESCO teams together did a skit covering the idea of how women are gradually participating in the various community activities proactively, which traditionally men have been looking after and how they are moving towards becoming more aware & independent.
“Hari Om!” and every ear in the auditorium was filled with benediction, it was Swamiji. He then threw light on how humans with the due course of time have evolved towards being self centered and why should one come out this act, which is highly undesirable & envenoming. How human race is imitating other species by diverting from it’s objective by the virtue of the dangerous tool it possesses – Intelligence!
“We need to give more than we consume.” He told how Kshama Didi (Director | CORD) is the driving force behind CORD’s transformation and how she demonstrates the traits of a True-Leader & an inspiration for many to look upto.
The session commenced by expressing gratitude to Swamiji, Shama Didi & Anil Sir for giving everyone an opportunity to be at Sidhbari and be a part of a transformational experience, which everyone of us will cherish for the life time.
