Top 5 Participating teams from: - SOIL, IIM Ahmadabad, IIM Indore, TISS Mumbai and XIM Bhubaneswar
Theme of the Competition: - Young India.
Topic: - How will the youth bring back the glory to India?
Expected deliverable:- Creative write up displaying the essence of the theme.
My view point: - I started by drawing a Pie chart of my belief. I strongly believe that bring the glory back to India one has to first concentrate on an individual change and become potent enough that one is ready to bring a change and thus contribute to the nation’s success. I gave the equal importance to the changes required in the family and society front to be able to say that we are a proud nation.
After explaining the pie chart I highlighted on the key facts of young energy and the fresh thoughts Youngistaaan can bring on the table and also quoted the example of SOIL that how we at SOIL as young professionals are trying to change the world around us. I emphasized on the importance of taking initiatives and not worrying about the results. I have always believed in a quote of “Never say die attitude” and I highlighted that spirit in my article and I ended my article with the following few lines:-
Time has come when there will be no dark cloud in the sky,
When the spirits will be up and we will never say die.
When every heart is following the same story,
Let us all contribute in turning India’s Glory.
I managed to win the second prize in the competition and it feels so great to win at such a grand stage under stiff competition from the other participants. Overall it was an amazing experience and I am really glad to emerge as a winner out of that league.
